The IT Specialist Traineeship is a 3-year programme offered by GIZ, starting every August. The programme combines theoretical education at a vocational school with practical training in different GIZ units. Trainees will learn to plan and devise IT solutions, configure and maintain complex networked systems, and may have the option to complete assignments in Germany or abroad.

Overview

The traineeship is divided into a theoretical phase and an in-company practical phase. During the theoretical phase, trainees will attend vocational school to acquire the necessary background knowledge in IT and telecommunications products and markets, system solutions, and system development.
