Alinea International is seeking a senior public finance consultant to work on a project in Senegal, with a focus on public finance management and economic governance. Overview
The project aims to mobilize highly qualified technical specialists to support Canadian programming in Senegal and other countries covered by the Canadian Embassy in Dakar. The senior public finance consultant will work with the project team to provide technical assistance and support to the Government of Senegal in areas such as public finance management, economic governance, and transparency and accountability.

Role & Responsibilities
The senior public finance consultant will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to the Government of Senegal in areas such as public finance management, economic governance, and transparency and accountability.

- Conduct analysis and research on public finance management and economic governance issues
- Develop and implement strategies to improve transparency and accountability in public finance management
Requirements
- Master's degree in public finance, economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in public finance management and economic governance
- Fluency in French, with knowledge of Wolof or other national languages an asset
- Experience working in Senegal or a similar context

- Remuneration will be in line with market rates
