Overview
The Senior Program Officer, Gynecology, will lead a portfolio of investments and partnerships to support the development and introduction of products addressing high-burden gynecologic conditions for women and girls in Low Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
- Develop a strategically aligned portfolio of investments focused on heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) and other key gynecologic conditions
- Collaborate with private sector partners, researchers, and global health organizations to align innovation with the needs of women and girls in LMICs
- Lead WHI initiatives for HMB and gynecology/menstrual health (MH)
- Assess and address gaps in understanding of HMB etiology, prevalence, and burden, focusing on association with anemia and well-being
Eligibility
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree (MD and/or PhD) in gynecology or an adjacent area, with 10+ years of experience in women's health product development, research, or gynecology clinical care.
- Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of clinical trials to support product development of solutions, preferably in the field of HMB
- Critical assessment of epidemiological, population, and clinical trial data
- Strong knowledge of relevant global networks
