Alinea International is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in employability and technical training for their project in Senegal. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing vocational training systems aligned with market needs. Overview
The Senior Consultant will work on the Projet de Services d’Appui Terrain (PSAT) project, which aims to support Canadian programming in Senegal by mobilizing highly qualified technical specialists.
- The project involves working with various stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support to the programming.
Role & Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing technical expertise in employability and technical training, with a focus on designing and implementing systems that meet market needs.
- Conception and implementation of vocational training systems aligned with market needs
- Interventions in priority productive sectors, including agriculture, green economy, and emerging industries
- Development of public-private partnerships in training and integration of digital and green skills
- Promotion of economic inclusion of vulnerable groups, including women and young people in precarious situations
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, economics, or social sciences
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing vocational training systems
- Proven experience in working with priority productive sectors and promoting economic inclusion of vulnerable groups
- Fluency in French (reading, writing, and speaking) is required, and proficiency in Wolof or other national languages is an asset
