Vital Voices Global Partnership is hiring a Program Manager to lead strategic execution of the WomenLeaders India (WLI) Fellowship — a country-specific program dedicated to advancing women's leadership across India. Reporting to the Director of Leadership and Social Impact, this mid-senior role manages the full program lifecycle from design through delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
The role spans curriculum design and facilitation, financial management, fundraising support, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination. Experience working with India or South Asia is required, and regular availability to overlap with the India Time Zone is needed. Based in Washington, D.C. (hybrid), two required in-person days per week. Note: pending hire contingent upon funding availability.
What You Will Do
- Program management — lead planning, execution, and evaluation of the WLI Fellowship; manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and budgets
- Training and facilitation — design, adapt, and facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for women leaders, integrating adult-learning principles
- Financial management — develop and monitor program budgets and forecasts; ensure compliance and accurate reporting
- Monitoring and evaluation — manage MERL evaluation plans, feedback systems, and data reporting; integrate insights into program improvements
- Fundraising support — support proposal development, funder relationship management, and donor reporting
- Stakeholder engagement — maintain trust-based relationships with WLI participants, trainers, partners, and funders across the U.S. and India
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 4–8 years of relevant experience in program management, international development, or women's leadership programming
- Experience designing curriculum and facilitating virtual and in-person trainings strongly preferred
- Excellent complex project management skills with ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple workstreams
- Experience working in or with India, South Asia, or India-focused programs required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Hindi or other Indian language skills preferred
Compensation and Benefits
