Alinea International is seeking a Consultant in gender equality to support the Projet de Services d’Appui sur le Terrain in Dakar, Senegal. The successful candidate will have a strong expertise in gender equality, results-based management, and project monitoring and evaluation, with a maximum 132 days per year commitment from July 2026 to March 2027.
Overview
The Consultant will work on integrating gender considerations into every stage of the project cycle, from design to evaluation, ensuring the consistent application of Canada's Feminist International Assistance Policy.

Role & Responsibilities
The Consultant will provide technical expertise in gender equality to support the Projet de Services d’Appui sur le Terrain in Dakar, Senegal.
- Integrate gender considerations into project design, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide technical assistance to project teams on gender mainstreaming
- Conduct analysis and research on gender equality issues in Senegal
Requirements
- Strong expertise in gender equality, results-based management, and project monitoring and evaluation
- Excellent knowledge of the Senegalese government environment, national frameworks, and international instruments on gender equality
- Fluency in French, with Wolof or other national languages considered an asset
- Experience working in development projects in Senegal or similar contexts
