Overview
The Civil Peace Service (CPS) supports civil society partners in their collective goal-oriented commitment to non-violent conflict transformation, strengthening of social relations through dialogue, and fostering youth-led critical reflection on Cameroon’s histories.
- Promotes collective reflection and action to reinforce nonviolent norms including gender-just relations.
- Psychosocial support is part of the collaborative approach with partner staff and target groups.
- The CPS Advisor will conduct an exploratory mission to co-develop approaches with CPS partners.
- Establish university partnerships in Cameroon and Germany.
Eligibility
The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in social or political sciences, peace and conflict studies, pedagogics, history, or any other relevant domain, along with a strong interest in history, colonial legacies, and pedagogic methods.
